Glass Miami Beach Glistens with Modern Beauty

Glass Miami Beach is that latest addition to the magnificent string of new condo developments in the South of Fifth neighborhood. The name chosen for these ultra-luxurious residences is quite appropriate because they feel more like glass homes in the sky rather than condominiums. The famous local developer, Terra Group, has swung for the fences with this plan. They have no doubt calculated that the incredible popularity of the neighborhood will support their bold designs.

While most condominium developments on South Beach have many condos per floor, Glass Miami Beach has taken a different approach.  Incredibly, Glass Miami Beach has only 10 residences for 18 stories. What a ratio! This incredibly low density runs polar-opposite to the countless commodity-like developments that are being launched in downtown Miami and Brickell – where the majority developers are fighting to get approvals for as many units as they can possibly build. Glass Miami Beach is certainly unique. The developers could have easily developer three times the volume of units.

Glass Miami Beach Pricing

The limited supply of condos available in Glass Miami Beach means that the developers must charge top-of-the-market prices for the residences. Currently, pricing is averaging approximately $2,500 per foot, which is still on par with Apogee.  But there is one difference; Apogee sits on the water, while Glass is located across from the Ocean.  There will still be some very nice 360-degree views from Glass Miami Beach condos though – residents should be able to see the water between the other waterfront buildings. Unit prices currently average between $8 million and $9 million with the penthouse going for a whopping $35 million.

Magnificent Design

Looking more closely at the building itself. There are many reasons why Glass Miami Beach has sold well and still offers value at its high price points. Glass is designed to be an architectural marvel. Internationally acclaimed architect Rene Gonzalez has pulled out all stops to create a towering condo which appears to dematerialize as it rises. Built using fritted and patterned glass, the exterior of the condo will reflect the natural landscape almost perfectly – the proposed results are nothing short of stunning.

Elite Amenities

Residents can choose between two, three, and four bedroom units and a three-story penthouse. They can also expect every single amenity that comes with high-end South Beach condos like an estate manager, valet and housekeeping services, beach service, gym, 24-hour security and spa services.

Iconic Development

All residences at Glass Miami Beach will have 360 degrees views of South Beach, with floor to ceiling glass enclosing them. The seamless glass balconies are fritted so as to reflect the stars in the gorgeous Miami night sky in a variety of gradients. Glass Miami Beach is slated to be ready for possession in 2015 as one of the most luxurious and iconic condos for sale in Miami Beach.
